The Physical Planning & Housing Department, under the Government of Azad Kashmir, has announced a contract-based career opportunity for qualified and experienced professionals.

Position Details
Post Title: Chairman (BS-20)
Number of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 40–60 Years
Quota: Open Merit
Nature of Appointment: Contract Basis
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Urban Planning with at least 3 years of relevant experience;
OR - BSc in Civil Engineering / Town Planning / Urban Planning from a recognized university with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
The selected candidate will lead the Development Authority Muzaffarabad (DAM) and must possess strong academic credentials, professional expertise in urban planning, development, and housing, along with leadership capabilities.
Terms of Appointment
- Appointment will be made by the Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir on the recommendation of a Special Committee chaired by the ACS (General).
- The initial contract period will be three (03) years.
- Terms and conditions will be governed under the Contract Policy, 2006.
- The selected candidate will receive pay, allowances, and other benefits equivalent to BS-20.
