The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, invites applications for contract-based career opportunities in Islamabad.

Available Position

Assistant Director (Threat Analyst)

• Age Limit: Maximum 37 years (5-year relaxation included)
• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 16 years of education verified and attested by HEC
• Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years post-graduation experience in Information Security / Cyber Threat Intelligence

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Dark Web, Telegram, Discord, Twitter, and other social media platforms for potential cyber threats
• Investigate suspected data breaches and cybercrime incidents
• Identify, validate, and enrich Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) using threat intelligence sources
• Integrate Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) with SIEM, SOAR, and Incident Response platforms
• Issue timely advisories and alerts on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits
• Utilize threat intelligence tools such as MISP and OpenCTI
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Collaborate with SOC, IR teams, and management for security improvements

Terms & Conditions

• Appointments will be on a contract basis with an initial 6-month probation (extendable as required)
• Management reserves the right to modify, stop, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
• Submission of false information will lead to disqualification
• Government/semi-government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC)
• Selected candidates must provide medical fitness and character certificates
• No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview
• Verified degrees/certificates from HEC or relevant authorities are required at the time of the interview
