About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Web Designer & SEO Specialist to lead the design, development, and optimization of a new website for a medical practice.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the website project from concept through launch, creating a modern, professional digital experience that reflects the practice’s brand, performs well in search engines, and makes it easy for prospective patients to discover and connect with the practice and its doctors.

The ideal candidate combines strong web design and development skills with a solid understanding of SEO, content optimization, and healthcare-focused digital best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and finalize a modern, professional website that accurately reflects the practice’s brand identity.
Manage the website project from initial concept through launch, ensuring an efficient and timely delivery.
Review, revise, and update existing website content to ensure it is accurate, current, engaging, and optimized for the web.
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and website performance.
Ensure website design, content, navigation, structure, and functionality are fully aligned with the practice’s brand.
Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, image alt text, internal linking, and content optimization.
Optimize the website for user experience, performance, mobile responsiveness, and search visibility.
Monitor website and SEO performance after launch and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure the final website meets both business and patient-facing objectives.

Requirements

Proven experience in website design and development.
Strong knowledge of SEO principles, best practices, and tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
Experience editing, optimizing, and writing website content.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines in support of a fast website launch.
Strong attention to detail, visual consistency, and brand standards.
Experience working with website platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix.
Basic understanding of HIPAA-compliant website practices and the privacy considerations associated with healthcare websites.
Strong ability to balance design, content, SEO, and user experience.
